Welcome to the 14th episode in my Quest for Passive Income Podcast.
My goal is provide you with the passive
income strategies you can use so that you can make your job an option rather than a necessity. The podcast provides ideas, inspiration, case studies, and “how to” tips to earn more income.
Today’s topic is on how to make a solid monthly cashflow by blogging about a topic you’re passionate about and my guest today is Bob Lotich who has been earning a full-time living from his blogs since 2009. Bob is the founder of Christian Personal Finance (ChristianPF.com) and co-founder of BloggingYourPassion.com.
In this interview (38 minutes long), Bob reveals:
Why he prefers a “slow and steady” plod rather than a sudden explosion with business- The investment of time that is needed to experience success as a blogger (might not be what you think)
- His thoughts on choosing a topic for a blog (can passion really make a profit?)
- A few of his favorite ways to generate traffic

Great to have Bob on your podcast. It’s always good to hear from bloggers and how they got here.
Glad you enjoyed it, Tom! Bob is great
Nice topic for the podcast, Shae!
Oh, if folks only knew how much time and effort we bloggers put into our work — it’s definitely no picnic!!
Though, I will say it does give us a sense of purpose and a podium to voice our experiences, thoughts and opinions in this world. And, that is the power of blogging!
I like Bob’s viewpoint on blogging — it really needs to come from topics we’re interested in. The bloggers who do succeed are very knowledgeable and passionate about what they share.
I enjoyed the podcast, great guest and topic!
